Obituary for Bonnie Lee Morren
Bonnie Lee Morren, age 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at her home in Altus, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 16, 1940, in Angels Camp, California, Bonnie lived a life filled with love, devotion, and cherished memories. Bonnie graduated from Bret Harte High School in 1958 and on October 4th of that same year, married the love of her life, Jack Henry Morren. Jack's career in the Air Force led the couple to move frequently across the United States before settling in Altus, Oklahoma in 1974, where they built a life together and raised their family. Bonnie had a remarkable work ethic and a kind heart. She worked as a teller at First National Bank and later as an office manager at PSO. Beyond her professional life, Bonnie found joy in the simple pleasures of the outdoors. She loved gardening, fishing, and exploring local garage sales and thrift shops. Her happiest moments were spent in the company of her family, whom she adored. Bonnie was known for her strong faith, which guided her throughout her life. She found great comfort and strength in her relationship with God. Her faith was a source of inspiration and solace to those around her. Bonnie's legacy is one of love and dedication.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Vernie Freeland; her beloved husband, Jack Morren; her son, Steve Morren; and her sister, Mary Ann Virtue.

She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory: her children, Mike Morren and wife Janet, Jim Morren and wife Shelly, and Jaclyn Lopez and fiancé Bryan Walling; her grandchildren, Blaine Morren, Brooke McFerrin and husband Jack, Tanna Zapata and husband Austin, Alexis Moran and husband Jonathan, Austin Heath, and Asha Heath; and her great-grandchildren, Locklynn, Bristol, Acelee, Blakelyn, Kase, and Raelyn. Bonnie is also survived by her brother, Jack Freeland, and his wife, Kris, along with many other extended family members and dear friends.

Bonnie's warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her husband, Jack, and other loved ones who passed before her.

The Morren family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma. Services are under the care of the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory.
