Obituary for Bonnie M. Hunter
Bonnie M. Hunter, age 88, of Warren, Oklahoma was born December 2, 1907 in Navajoe, OK, the daughter of the late Beverly and Viola (Derryberry) Lacy. She was a lifelong Jackson County resident having lived her entire life at Navajoe and Warren communities. Mrs. Hunter passed away Friday evening, October 25, 1996, in the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Hobart, OK after a sudden illness.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 28, 1996, in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Waugh and Ardron Hinton officiating. Burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

In December of 1925, she and Elbert Hunter were united in marriage at Hobart, Oklahoma. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Warren, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: one son, Royce Hunter and wife Billie of Hobart, Oklahoma; son-in-law, Bill Tipton of Warren, Oklahoma; two sisters, Lucille Willingham of Warren, OK and Edna Lee Randall of Edna, TX; four grandchildren, John Tipton of Denver, CO, Joey Tipton of Fort Worth, TX, Gina Kousiakis of Athens, Greece and Hollianne Hackney of Lexington, OK; one great-grandson, Fotis Kousiakis of Athens, Greece.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Elbert Hunter on March 17, 1986; one daughter, Joyce Tipton in 1993; one grandson, Lindsey Royce Hunter in 1977; one sister, Lila McCombs.
