Obituary for Brookie L. Hunter
Mrs. Brookie L. Hunter, age 77, of Altus, OK, died Tuesday, May 14th, 1968 at the Park Lane Manor in Altus, OK.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 15, 1968, 2:00 P.M., Hess Baptist Church with the Reverend Eddie Overstreet officiating. Burial will be in the Hess Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hunter was married to Shelby L. Hunter June 14, 1947 and he preceded her in death. She had lived in the Hess community since 1906 and belonged to the Hess Baptist Church.

She is survived by: one son, Curtis of Altus, OK; two daughters, Mrs. W.H. Johnson and Mrs. M.D. McLaurin both of Plainview, TX; one brother, Ben F. Murphy of Altus; one sister, Mrs. A. J.
Phelps of Caldwell, Idaho; several nieces and nephews.
