Callie Maurene Johnson age 73, of Altus, Oklahoma died July 28, 1964 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at Baptist Hospital. She was born October 21, 1890 in Arkansas to Jackson and Sarah (Goodman) Duffie. She moved to the Altus area in 1926and married Collin Johnson 55 years ago. They moved from Duke, Oklahoma to Mangum two years ago from Duke, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Callie Maurene Johnson are scheduled for July 30, 1964 at 3:00pm in Tims Chapel Altus, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. Ellerd Shumaker and Andrew Yates. Burial will follow in the Rock Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Callie Maurene Johnson is survived by her husband of the home in Mangum, Oklahoma; one son Frankie Johnson, Duke, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four bothers, George Duffie, Seneca, Missouri; Andrew Johnson, Vernon, Texas; Herman Johnson, Quanah, Texas; Fred Johnson, Ft Worth, Texas; five sisters, Mrs. Jeanette Baum, Lexington, Oklahoma; Mrs. Berth Powell, San Angelo, Texas; Mrs. Hettie Baldridge, La Junta, Colorado, Mrs. Corledelia Wall, San Anna, California; Mrs. Myrtle Wilkerson, Quanah, Texas.
