Obituary for Candice "Candy" Maloney
Candice "Candy" Maloney, 63, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2012 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was born January 25, 1949 in Kansas City, KS to Frances and Wallace Ward. She graduated from Bishop Mege High School in 1967 then attended Cosmetology School and received her license.

On April 5, 1975, Candice and Patrick Maloney were united in marriage. They moved to Altus in 1997 where she was employed by the Altus AFB Exchange for the last several years. Candice served in many departments at the Exchange and retired in 2010 as Senior Accountant.

Candice was a member of Altus AFB, St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was fun loving and adored her family and friends. She was a kind, caring and loving individual and will be greatly missed by the many family and friends she leaves.

She is lovingly survived her husband Patrick of the home in Altus; one daughter, Diana McElwee and husband Justin of Headrick, OK; two grandsons, Aaron Harger and Alec Harger; one granddaughter, KyLeigh McElwee; a sister, Patti Norris and husband Roland; and a nephew, Wallace Norris.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Shawn Maloney and Brandon Maloney.

A Funeral Mass has been scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, October 29, 2012 at Lowell-Tims Chapel with Captain Bedemoore Udechukwu, Chaplain US Air Force officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
