Carl Goodfellow age 78 of Headrick, Oklahoma died January 27, 1966 at his home 418 East Everett. He was born November 9, 1887 in Grapevine, Texas to W.B. and Sarah (Jasper) Goodfellow. He had lived in Jackson County for over 75 years. Carl married Arminta Roberts November 15, 1908 in Frederick, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Headrick Baptist Church and retired farmer.
Funeral services for Carl Goodfellow are scheduled for Sunday, January 30, 1966 at 1:00pm at the Tims Chapel in Altus, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. C.L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Altus, Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Carl Goodfellow is survived by his wife Arminta of the home; one son Elmo Goodfellow of Altus, Oklahoma; two daughters, Estelle Fennell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Irene Lott, Altus, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Goodfellow of Headrick; Rev. A.J. Goodfellow, Poteett, Texas; two sisters, Everal Berry, Headrick, Oklahoma; Myrtle Shoope, Justin, Texas.
