Obituary for Carolyn Elaine Vann
Carolyn Elaine Vann, 63, passed away on July 7th, 2012 surrounded by family and friends. She was born on August 27, 1948 in Altus, Oklahoma to Ueal and Gladys Allen. She resided in Warren, OK most of her life and graduated from Navajo High School in 1966.
Carolyn married Blayne Vann shortly after high school and they had three daughters - Stacie, Stormie, and Raynie. She worked at Altus Air force Base Billeting for most of her career. She finished her employment career at the Tamarack Retirement Center where she assisted with the activities department. She was an outstanding cook and loved to cook for her family and friends. She also liked to watch TV and movies.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters and their spouses: Stacie and Lonnie Terbush of Warren; Stormie and Justin Roberson of Edmond; Raynie and James Lowe of Guthrie. Grandchildren: Jade Allen Terbush of Edmond and Rylan Blayne Roberson of Edmond. She is also survived by a sister-in law Brenda Allen of Elk City and her children: Angie Allen of Altus; Ty Allen, spouse Nicole, and daughter Sayde of Elk City; Tara Allen, spouse Lance, and daughter Lauren of Elk City and many other very cherished extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ueal and Gladys Allen and her brother Lonnie Allen.
Arrangements are with Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the Warren Cemetery on Thursday, July 12th at 9:00 am.
A brunch will be served at the Warren Community Building following the service.
