Obituary for Carrol Cornelius
Carrol Cornelius,75, passed away at Jackson County Memorial Hospital on January 2, 1983. He was born to Walter and Fannie Cornelius on January 23, 1908 in Altus. On June 2, 1928, he married the love of his life, Dorothy, in Altus. They attended the Church of the Nazarene. Carrol retired from the Oil Mill in 1968.
Survivors include wife, Dorothy, of the home; one son, Ron Cornelius, Altus, one daughter, Jan Gardner, Sulphur, one brother Wilson Cornelius, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one sister, Wanda Irwin, Harlingen, Texas, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be held at the Nazarene Church on January 4, 1983 with Tims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Altus Cemetery.
