Obituary for Cecil C. Pelfrey
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, at Lowell Memorial Chapel for Mr. Cecil Pelfrey, long time resident of Altus who died Saturday morning at a Mangum Nursing Home. Burial will be in the Veteran's Section of Altus City Cemetery. Mr. Pelfrey, born April 19, 1891 at Tunnelhill, Georgia was a long time resident of Altus, a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include: one son, Travis Pelfrey of Santa Clara, CA; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Wilson of Covelo, CA; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Skidmore of Shingle Springs, CA; a half-sister, Mrs. J. I. Duncan of Altus; two half-brothers, Mr. Corky Pelfrey of Altus and Mr. Joe Edwin Pelfrey of Ft. Myers, FL; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
