Obituary for Cecil E. Roudebush
Cecil E. Roudebush, age 82, lifetime resident of Jackson County, passed away Saturday, July 27th, 1996.
Graveside Services for Mr. Roudebush will be July 30, 1996 at the Hess Cemetery, officiated by Bill Osborne, and under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Roudebush was born January 15th, 1914 in Humphreys, Oklahoma and was a ginner at Farmers Co-op for 32 years and was involved in the Jackson County Water Association. He also ginned at Altus, Humphreys, Olustee and at Olustee Wheat Gleaners.
Mr. Roudebush raised his grandchildren, Donnie Emory of Elk City and Lori and Lisa Blackshere, both of Altus.
Survivors include: his wife, Alice Lorene (Sloan) Roudebush of 1209 Cherry, Altus, Oklahoma; two children, Betty Patterson of Altus, Oklahoma and Gary Roudebush of Hastings, NE; one brother, W. C. Roudebush of Humphreys, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers; three sisters; his wife Alice Lorene in October 1992; a son, Kenneth Glen in April 1987.
