Charles Aubrey McKenzie
Charles Aubrey McKenzie, 57, passed away Monday April 17, 1995 at his home with his family. Charles was born April 22, 1937, at Hess, Oklahoma to Aubrey and Jackie McKenzie. He lived in the Altus area all of his life. On August 14, 1957, he married Terrie L. Reeves of Altus, Oklahoma.
Charles was a Custom Wheat harvester for many years. After retiring from Wheat Harvesting, he bought his first truck and started his business in trucking.. In 1981, he opened his own business, McKenzie Truck /repair. His son David came to work for him about a year later. Charles is survived by his wife of 37 years, Terrie, of the home; one son, David and his wife Kathy, and their children, Aubrey, 8, and Charli 7 weeks; two daughters, Dondra McKenzie James and her husband, Johnny, and their daughter, Bonnie Briscoe, 11, all of Binger, Oklahoma; Tracy Weathers and her husband, Gary,, their children, Kaesi, 10 Tyler 8, Kerri, 5, and Kathren, 2, all of Altus; as well as one brother, Gayle McKenzie of Altus.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
