Charles Leonard Alexander age 66, of Altus, Oklahoma died October 30, 1969 in Sentinal, Oklahoma. He was born May 1, 1903 in Manitou, Oklahoma to Martin Alexander. He married Emma Scheller December 14, 1926 in Frederick, Oklahoma. He lived in Frederick from 1932 until 1951 then moved to Altus. Prior to that he had lived in Manitou, Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, a deacon and very active in all church activities.
Funeral services for Charles Leonard Alexander are scheduled for November 1, 1969 at 2:00pm in the First Baptist Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. C. David Matthews and Rev. Everett Smalts.
Burial will follow in the Frederick Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Charles Leonard Alexander is survived by his wife, Emma of the home in Altus; one son Max Alexander, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, two brothers, C. C. Alexander of Manitou, Oklahoma; W. M. Alexander, Frederick, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. J. S. Wood, Manitou, Oklahoma; Mrs. W. E. Verner, Farwell, Texas; Mrs. E. R. Saloan, Monahans, Texas.
