Obituary for Charles Preston Peden
Mr. Charles P. Peden, age 93, pioneer resident of this area, died early Thursday morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Friday at the First United Methodist Church, officiated by the Reverend C.C. Gober and assisted by the Reverend Clayton Hughes. Burial will be in Rock Cemetery, Duke, under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born June 15, 1880, he was married at Duke in 1910 to the former Addie Morris. She died in July 1971. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: one son, Preston Peden of La Grange, IL.
