Charley Carrol Kuykendall, Sr. was born March 30th, 1923 in Gainesville, TX to Arthur C. and Lillie Belle (Stapp) Kuykendall. He died on Sunday, August 9th, 1992 in Muenster, Texas. He belonged to the Salvation Army Church.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 1992 in the Blair Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by: a brother in 1985; two sons; his parents.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Kuykendall; seven children, Mary Hughes, Charlene Holt and Cora Self of Gainesville, TX, Dennis Kuykendall and Charley Kuykendall, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK, Geneva Dobbins and Mary Alice Meyers of Altus, OK; a brother, Lewis E. Kuykendall of Gainesville, TX; two sisters, Irene Cook of Sunnyvale, CA and LaVerne Cardwell of Austin, TX;
12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
