Obituary for Chris Johnson
Mr. Chris Johnson, age 67, life long resident of Cooperton, Oklahoma, died at the Cooperton Hospital unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services have been set for 3:00 P.M., Sunday, June 9, 1968, at the Cooperton High School with the Reverend Ron Hutchinson, pastor of the First Christian Church at Hydro, OK, officiating. He was assisted by the Reverend Charles Curry, pastor of the Baptist Church in Cooperton. Burial will be in the Hobart Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Survivors include: his wife, Merle, of the home; four sons, Weldon, Bud and Donnie of Cooperton and Sonny from Moore, OK; four daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Haskins of Gotebo, OK, Mrs. Marvin Lindsey of Porter, OK, Mrs. Kenneth Baker of Wilson, TX and Mrs. Donald Simmons of Roosevelt, OK; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
