Obituary for Christine F. Raiden
Christine F. Raiden, age 67, was born April 25th, 1927, in Friendship, Oklahoma. Mrs. Raiden passed away Thursday, September 1st, 1994, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a
lengthy illness.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, 1994, in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Robert Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery
under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
On January 18, 1944, she and Cecil B. Raiden were united in marriage at Altus, OK. To this union was born five daughters and two sons. Mrs. Raiden was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the St. Johns Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Cecil H. Raiden of the home; five children, Mary Etherdige and Esther Bryant of Newport News, VA, Shirley Raiden of Miami, FL, Carl Raiden of Boley, OK and Gwen Raiden of Altus, Oklahoma; four brothers, L. P. Carson of California, Harry Weaver and Tommy Weaver of Vernon, TX and James Reed of Kansas; five sisters, Rosie Johnson of Vernon, TX, Emma Walker, Jessie Goodlow and Mary Robinson of Altus, OK and Evelyn Fleeks of Wichita Falls, TX; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: a son,. Cecil Raiden, Jr.; a daughter, Rebecca Cosby.
