Obituary for Clara Cassie Lax
Mrs. Cassie Lax, age 78, long time resident of Tipton, died Saturday night at Wichita General Hospital, Wichita Falls, TX.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Mount Gideon Baptist Church in Tipton, officiated by the Reverend J. T. Anderson. Burial will be in the Frederick Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born April 15th, 1903 in Eufaula, OK, she was married in 1918 at Eufaula to the late Jessie Lax who died in 1955. She was a member of the Mount Gideon Baptist Church in Tipton.

Survivors include: three daughters, Viola Cook of Tipton, Mayola Ellis of Wichita Falls, TX and Cleo Richardson of Mesa, AZ; one brother, Clifton James of Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Mrs. Dilcy James of Eufaula, OK; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
