Clarence Eugene (Kelly) Kelso
Clarence Eugene "Kelly" Kelso, 55, passed away Sunday, June 18, 1995, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Kelly was born October 5th, 1939, in Fedonia, Pennsylvania to Chester and Grace Kelso. He moved to the Altus area in 1970 where he married Linda Maheu. Kelly was a retired truck driver having driven for Bilbo Freight Lines and for Republic Gypsum for several years. Kelly was a member of the Odd Fellow Lodge #134.
Mr. Kelso also served in the United States Navy from 1957 until 1961.
Kelly will lie in state at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home from 10 A.M. Tuesday until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday. A private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Mr Kelso was preceded in death by his Parents and one son, James Steven Kelso. He is survived by his wife, Linda Kelso of the home in Altus, his children; Stephen Hoffman, Mark Kelso, and Tammy Wynette Kelso of the home and William Michael Kelso, Marilyn Sue Black, Brenda Lee Hoffman and Maria Lynn Kelso of Pennsylvania, and Debra Dudney of Ohio. Three brothers, John Kelso, Florida, Loyd Kelso, Florida and Joe Kelso of Kansas. Three sisters, Irene Volinsky and Ruth Foust of Pennsylvania and Bernice Jones of Florida. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
