Obituary for Claude Dean Gambill
Claude Dean Gambill, 63, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 1995 in Altus. The family will be receiving visitors at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home this afternoon for 2pm until 4:30 pm. Local arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Gambill was born July 22, 1932, in east Fork Township, Illinois to Claude and Mae (Orrell) Gambill. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force during both and Korea and Viet Nam Conflicts. He moved to Gould, Oklahoma in 1969 and was stationed at Altus Air Force Base. The Gambills moved to Altus in 1971. Upon his retirement from the Military in 1972, he went to work for Smart Oldsmobile as a mechanic. When Wilmes bought the dealership, Claude retained his position.

Survivors include; mother Mae Orrell Gambill of Carlye, Illinois; wife Gloria of the home; children; Thomas Gambill W. point, New York; James Gambill and Johnna of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Kenneth Gambill and Andrea of Wichita, Kansas; Janet Black and Billie of Travis AFB Califronia; Robert Gambill of Crestview, Florida; sister Betty Elliott of Keyport, Illinois; Velma Wade of Kimberling City, Mo.; Karen Siegelken of Troy Illinois; 9 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his father Claude Gambill.
