Mr. Clay Adkins, age 74, Box 56, Headrick, OK, died on November 23, 1977 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Born July 10th, 1903 in West Liberty, Kentucky, he was married to the former Delitha Cockrell on December 27, 1932 in Cushing, OK.
Funeral service has been set for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 26, 1977 at Tims Chapel of Memories. The Reverend C. L. Abercrombie will officiate. Burial will be in the Brethern Cemetery in Cushing, OK, under the direction of Tims Funeral Home. A graveside will be held at 4:00 P.M. at Brethern Cemetery.
Survivors include: his wife, Delitha, of the home; two sons, John Adkins of Dallas, TX and Wade Adkins of Albuquerque, NM; three grandchildren; three nephews, Ray Davis of Flagstaff, AZ, Bill Davis of Muskogee, OK and Ralph Davis of Neosha, MO; one niece, Alta McPhretridge of Holdenville, OK.
