Cleatus was born February 10, 1908 in Red River County, Texas to Charles Hubbard and Willie Mae (StClair) Thomas. He married Maudell Stephenson, December 6 1933. Cleauts, had been a resident of Altus since 1961 moving here from Odell, Texas.
Services for Cleatus Thomas are scheduled for Monday, July 8m 1967 at 2:00 pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Gene Garrison. Burial will follow in the Bell Cemetery, Odell, Texas, under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Cleatus Youl Thomas is survived by his wife Maudell of the home in Altus; one nephew, Marty Lewis Crowder, of the home, five brothers, Lewis Thomas, Vernon, Texas, Clyde Thomas, Altus, Oklahoma; Claude Thomas, Mermack, Wi.; Herman Thomas Vernon, Texas; C. H. Thomas, Farmington, New Mexico; five sisters, Mrs. Nettie Thomas, Vernon, Texas; Mrs. Ida, Lee Chisum, Vernon, Texas; Mrs. Lillian Hopkins, Vernon, Texas; Mrs. Virginia Chisum, Vernon, Texas, Mrs. Aline Hayes, Reyland, Texas.
