Obituary for Clifford C. Thaggard
Funeral services fro Clifford C. Thaggard, age 86 of Altus, are scheduled for Tuesday, January 7, 1996 at 11:00am in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mr Thaggard was born September 15, 1910 in Elmer Oklahoma to the late John B. Thaggard and Lula E. (Patton) Thaggard. Clifford and Lottie Marhee (Work) were united in marriage February 21, 1942 at Altus, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army in England during World War II. Mr Thaggard retired from Civil Service at Altus Air Force Base. Mr Thaggard was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church, and a Charter member of the Western Prairie Good Sam' Club of Altus.

Survivors include his wife Lottie Marhee Thaggard; children, John Thaggard and wife Kay of Blair, Oklahoma; sister Estelle Sheppard of Muskogee, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Michael Wayne Thaggard of Altus, Oklahoma; Johnna Michelle Thaggard of Altus, Oklahoma and a host of cousins and many friends.

Preceded in death by his parents.
