Memorial services for Clifton Carlton, age 48, of Altus, Oklahoma are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 1998 at the Altus Air Force Base Chapel. Mr. Carlton passed away September 24th, 1998 in Altus, Oklahoma. Mr. Carlton was born July 13, 1950 in Corinth, New York to Charles and Beatrice Carlton. Mr. Carlton retired from the Air Force in June of 1990 after serving 20 years. He was a Tech Sergeant at retirement.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include: a daughter, Stephanie Shea Carlton Powell of Big Spring, TX; his father, Charles Carlton of Holly Springs, MS; spouse, Sabina Carlton of the Azores; two grandchildren, Caton Shea Powell of Big Spring, TX and Mackenzie Anne Powell also of Big Spring, TX; three brothers, Clinton Carlton of Lake Luzerne, NY, Michael Carlton of Lake Luzerne, NY and Billy Carlton of Lake Luzerne, NY; three sisters, Sylvia Michaud of Holly Springs, MS, Martina Littlebridge and Becky Carlton of Lake Luzerne, NY.
Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
