Obituary for Clifton O. Swain
Funeral services for Mr. Clifton O. "Sandy" Swain, age 80, have been set for 2:30 P.M., Monday, June 23rd, at the United Methodist Church in Olustee, officiated by Reverend C. L. Abercrombie and assisted by Reverend Edward Sifford. Burial will be in Olustee Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born in Springfield, MO, Mr. Swain had lived most of his years in Jackson County and the Olustee community. A disabled veteran of World War II, he had for the past two years been a patient of the Veterans Hospital in Sulphur, where he died on Friday.

Survivors include: two sons, Charles of Crescent, OK and Bill Swain; four brothers, Earl Swain of Altus, Charles W. of Tipton, CA, Wesley R. of Hilton, OK and Quill of Colgate, OK; two sisters, Mrs. William Holland of California and Mrs. Goldie Owens of Oklahoma City.
