Obituary for Corbett Blaine Anderson
SSgt Corbett Blaine Anderson, age 26, of Altus died Monday at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. A Memorial Service has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at the Altus Air Force Base Chapel officiated by Capt Timothy S. Rosenthal. Arrangements are with Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. A later Memorial Service will follow on Monday, March 25, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. at the Ft. Leavenworth Kansas Chapel.
Anderson was born Oct 7, 1975 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was the son of Craig Anderson and Ann Anderson. He attended Rockhurst High School in Kansas City where he graduated with honors. He married Jamie Morgan on March 13, 1998 at Clovis, New Mexico. Sgt Anderson was assigned to Altus Air Force Base nine months ago where he was a vehicle mechanic. Corbett enjoyed his family and was a good father. He also enjoyed the outdoors.
Survivors include: his wife, Jamie Anderson of the home; two children, Daelynn Anderson and Robert Jerald Cairns both of the home; parents, Craig Anderson of Kansas City, Missouri and Ann Anderson of Prairie Village, Kansas; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Lathen of San Antonio, Texas and Jean Anderson of Albia, Iowa; one sister, Kenyon Anderson of Prairie Village, Kansas; one brother, Dedrick Anderson and his wife Marla of Olathe, Kansas. Also surviving is a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Roy Anderson.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Daelynn Anderson Trust Fund, which has been established at Altus Air Force Base. Inquiries about this fund can be made to Lowell-Tims Funeral Home (580-482-1233)
