Obituary for Corina Maria Carruth
Mari Carruth, age 44 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away Friday, February 13, 1998 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was born June 4, 1953 at Edcouch, Texas, to the late Nieves and Albert (Cruz) Campos. She had lived in the Altus area since 1969. Maria had worked at the Snack Bar, The Galaxy Lanes at Altus Air Force Base for over 19 years. She was also a Laundry Attendant at Suda-N-Duds in Altus.
Survivors include; two brothers, Jessie Campos and his wife, Adelia of Fredricksburg,
Texas, Jose Campos and his wife, Elva, of Altus, Oklahoma, a host of nieces and nephews and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nieves and Alberta Campos one brother and one sister.
Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, February 16, 1998 at 2:30 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Joe Jacobi officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. A Prayer service is scheduled for Sunday, February 15, 1998 at 7pm at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
