Obituary for Cristina Rodriguez Ruiz
Cristina Rodriquez Ruiz, age 34 of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Cristina was born in Altus, Oklahoma on December 30, 1985 to her parents Francisco Salias Ruiz, Sr. and Isabel (Rodriguez) Ruiz. Cristina was raised in Altus where she graduated from Altus High School Class of 2005. She worked at the Southwest Enterprise in Altus for several years. Cristina was a longtime member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Altus. She participated in the special Olympics and she enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, listening to music, and dancing. But most of all, Cristina treasured spending time with her family, where she loved playing with all her nieces and nephews, going on family outings, and Cristina will be missed very much.
Preceded in death by her parents, Francisco, Sr. and Isabel Ruiz; two brothers, Francisco Ruiz, Jr.; and Carlos Ruiz, Sr.; Cristina is survived by four sisters, Irene Roblez; Amelia Costner; Lupe Alcorta and her husband Ricky; and Isabel Long; two brothers, Michael Ruiz and his longtime girlfriend Cathy Scott; and Enrique Ruiz, Sr. and his wife Mary; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews; other family members; and many friends.
Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Altus City Cemetery, Altus, Oklahoma.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
