Curtis England Pendergrass, 88 formerly of Altus died November 28, 1993 in the Presbyterian Hospital in Winnsboro, Texas. She was born December 12, 1904 in Blossom Texas.

She married Harvey Ernest Pendergrass in 1926 and he preceded her in death December 24, 1989. She was a long time resident of Altus and Jackson County residing in Altus most of her life until moving to the Scoroggins, Texas area in 1988. She was a long time member of the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She was presently a member of the Mt. Vernon Church of Christ of Mt. Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 2 pm at the Restlawn Cemetery with Bill Osborne officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pendergrass is survived by her children; Ernest Pendergrass Jr. and wife Nita of Scroggins, Texas; Glenn Pendergrass and wife, Laura Beth of Ada, Oklahoma; Wilma Lollis of Martha, Oklahoma; Larry Pendergrass and wife Wanda of Winnsboro, Texas; sister Gladys Chandler of Altus, Oklahoma; thirteen, grandchildren; seventeen, great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Ernest Pendergrass, 12-24-1989.
