Debbie was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Altus and was a weekly prayer warrior for the prayer room ministry. She was president of the Lupus disease support group of Jackson County and was honored to serve on the Parent Advisory Board of Altus High School where her son is now a senior. She volunteered in many other causes as well. Her spirt of unselfish giving was evidenced each day.
Debbie is survived by her precious son Houston Green, age 17, her parents, retired Air Force Lt. Colonel Clarence Myers and June Myers, formerly stationed at Altus Air Force Base, four sisters, Pamela Mabry, Ramona Falls, Lori Mapes, and Tammy Myers all of Houston, Texas; two brothers, David Myers of Memphis, Tennessee, and Rodney Myers of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Debbie joins in Heaven two younger brothers, Kirk and Jon Myers. Debbie was a wonderful encourager to her nephews Billy John, Dallas Mabry, Travis Falls, and her nieces, namesake Deborah Mabry, Casey Falls, Tara Heidorf, Morgan Mapes, and Jordan Myers. Debbie was a great and Godly woman.
