Obituary for Deborah K. Tuttle-Cone
Debbie left Altus and worked at Target in Norman, OK, until she had a debilitating injury and forced into early retirement. In retirement, Debbie became a spokesperson for special needs children and served on many state boards advocating for voiceless children. Debbie was a loving mother to her son, Kenneth Leon Tuttle, who is a special needs child. Debbie devoted her life to care for son.
Debbie met the love of her life, John Cone, in 1990 and they shared their life together until John's death in 2001. Debbie always greeted family and friends with an open heart. Debbie loved to laugh and always seemed to be in the middle of mischief at family reunions. Debbie always had the super soaker water gun!
Debbie was a lifelong Christian and accepted Christ at an early age. She grew up attending the Altus Assembly of God and later attended the Altus Church of God.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, a sister (Patty Newton-Austin), and her husband John Cone. Debbie is survived by her brother, Ray Austin, and her son Kenny, nieces, nephews, countless cousins and friends.
