Obituary for Dee Smith
Mr. Dee Smith, age 71, long time resident of Blair, died early Sunday morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He had been a resident of Park Lane Manor Nursing Home for a number of years.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Monday afternoon at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Marshall Howard. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born January 29th, 1908 at Whitney, Texas, he worked for various construction firms and thru World War II under civil service. He was never married.
Survivors include: a brother, Duke Smith of Stringtown, OK; a brother-in-law Mr. Oliver Jones of Blair, OK; three nephews, Bob Jones of Blair, W. E. Jones of Noble, OK and Mr. Ferris Smith of Noble, OK; six nieces, Geneva Hall of Blair, Joyce Jennings of Borger, TX, Juanita Moore of Chula Vista, CA, Evelyn Keeling of Reddick, FL, Euna Farmer of Apple Valley, CA and Beulah Nevels of Bellaire, Texas.
