Delma Smith, 77, former resident of Tipton died Thursday in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born January 4, 1916 to James William and Bonnie Smith in Tipton. She was a Telephone Operator at Shepard Air Force Base for over 30 years.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday in the Tipton Cemetery with Gary Dennis officiating. Services are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith is survived by eight nephews; Jimmy Smith of Edmond, Oklahoma; Ronnie Smith of Showlow, Arizona; Charles Smith of Taylor, Arizona; Jerry Smith of Snowflake, Arizona; Wally Smith of Overgaard, Arizona;Rob Moore of El Paso, Texas, Bill Smith of Scottsdale, Arizona, Jack Smith of Scottsdale, Arizona; five nieces; Pam Cavness of Scottsdale, Arizona; Betty Deatsch of Scottsdale, Arizona; Chris Floyd of Payson, Arizona; Ellen Moore of El Paso, Texas; Bonnie Moore of El Paso, Texas.

Mrs Smith was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
