Obituary for Denzil Curtis Bynum
Denzil Curtis Bynum, age 72, passed away yesterday afternoon at the Quanah Hospital in Quanah, TX, after a long period of illness.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 23, 1984. The funeral will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Eldorado and burial will follow in the Boggy Cemetery, located south of Olustee.

Mr. Bynum was born in Harmon County September 20, 1912 and moved to Eldorado area with his family while he was still a child. On July 28, 1934 he was married to Maurine Hughes in the Methodist Parsonage in Eldorado. He was a well-known farmer/rancher in the S.W. area of Jackson County.

Survivors include: his wife, Maurine of the home; a son, Austin Bynum of Woodward, OK; two grandchildren; one brother, Dale Bynum of Roosevelt, OK; two sisters, Nova Strawn of Eldorado and Velma Felkins of Santa Paula, CA.

Reverend Kenneth Coleman of the Eldorado First Baptist Church will conduct the service and Lowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
