Obituary for Diwaliben Patel
Divaliben Patel, age 76, of Altus, Oklahoma, died Thursday in the English Village Nursing Home. Services have been scheduled for 11 A.M., Monday in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Patel was born November 16th, 1917 in Shiker, India to Dahyabhai and Gangaben Patel. She married Rambhai Patel in 1930 and he preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. Patel came to California in 1974, moved from California to Chicago in 1974 and from Chicago to Altus in 1978 where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a homemaker and a devout Hindu.
Survivors Include: four children, Nagin R. Patel of Seymour, TX, Mukund R. Patel of Altus, OK, Ramesh R. Patel and Manuben K. Patel of Robstown, TX; two brothers, Chhanabhai D. Patel and Bhagubhai D. Patel; 11 grandchildren, Mahesh A. Patel, Naina K. Desai, Bharti K. Patel, Harish N. Patel, Kalpesh N. Patel, Ketan M. Patel, Alpha M. Patel, Nalin R. Patel, Nick R. Patel, Vikash K. Patel and Archna K. Patel; three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Rambhai Patel; a son, Amrutlal R. Patel; a granddaughter, Kalpanaben Patel.
