Dorothy Jane Goodwin age 47 of Altus, Oklahoma died at Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma June 30, 1966. She was born May 31, 1919 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Mr. and Mrs. George V. Hunter. She married Arthur Goodwin January 2, 1943. She was a housewife, member of the Thomas Street Church of Christ and a member of the Altus Literacy program.

Funeral services for Dorothy Jane Goodwin are scheduled for Thursday, July 2, 1966 at the Thomas Street Church of Christ officiated by Joe Laird and Wallace Gooch. Burial will follow at the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Dorothy Jane Goodwin is survived by her husband Arthur Goodwin of Altus, Oklahoma; one daughter Jane Elizabeth; one son Lynn Edward; one sister, Mrs. Quida Harkreader; Ardmore, Oklahoma; two brothers, George B. Hunter Jr. Ardmore, Oklahoma; Val Hunter, Ardmore, Oklahoma; mother Mrs. George V. Hunter Sr.
