DOROTHY J. MOLLISON
Dorothy Mollison , age 81. passed away Thursday evening February 23, 2006. at Tamarack Retirement Center in Altus. She was born April 10th, 1924, in Newton, Kansas, to Ted R.and Bonnie (Peters) Farris. She has lived in the Altus community since 1948.
Dorothy and Malcolm Mollison were united in marriage February 6, 1942, in OKC, Oklahoma. Dr. Mollison preceded her in death October 8, 1995.
Dorothy was a homemaker who took pride in making a home for her family. She was an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was honored for her thirty years of faithful service to the alter guild there. Dorothy enjoyed a good game of bridge with friends, traveling abroad, and giving beautiful dinner parties. She was always the epitome of a lady. Dorothy loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by three children, Judge Suzanne Mollison, Altus; Patty M. Hamlin and her husband Joe, Lawton, and sons Jason and Chris; Richard A. Mollison and wife, Cynthia, Tulsa and their son, Nicholas. She is also survived by her sister Jean Reif and husband, Edward, Tulsa; nephews, Dr. Michael Reif and Dick Reif; and a host of many wonderful friends.
