Doshie Bradford 67 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away at Taylor's March 4, 1964. She was born January 16, 1897 in Decator, Texas to B.E. and Betty (Kato) Leverett. She married G.E. Bradford and had resided in Jackson County since 1900. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services for Doshie Bradford are scheduled for March 5, 1964 at the Assembly of God 2:00pm officiated by Rev. Carl McCoy. Burial will follow at Prairie Hill Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Doshie Bradford is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ira Dee Cheatwood, Altus, Oklahoma; Ellen Browder, Altus, Oklahoma; Dorothy Aldrete, Altus, Oklahoma; Shilrey Booker, long Beach, California; four sons, Jack Bradford, Altus, Oklahoma; Carroll Bradford, Houston, Texas; Jeff Bradford, Houston, Texas; W.K. Bradford, Houston, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Donia Bradford, Duke, Oklahoma;Mrs. Elsie Dunean, Tennessee; Sylvia McClary, Borger, Texas; Bunnie barthell, Washington; Mae Roger, St. Louis Missouri; two brothers, Bill Leverett, Duke, Oklahoma; Amos Leverett, Altus, Oklahoma; twenty grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
