Obituary for Douglas Merle Tinsley
Funeral services have been set for Mr. Douglas Merle Tinsley, age 46, long time resident of Eldorado. Mr. Tinsley died at his residence Wednesday morning following a period of extended illness. Born June 27th, 1922, he had been active until 1963 as a building contractor.

He is survived by: his wife, the former Eula Braker of Eldorado; two sons, Jimmy Wayne of Eldorado and Melvin Douglas of San Marcos, California; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Lavone Huffman of Casa Grande, AZ and Patricia Jean Tinsley of the home and presently a student at Oklahoma State University; his mother, Mrs. Hazel Faye Tinsley of Eldorado; two brothers, Herschel of Ft. Worth and Col. Herman Tinsley stationed at McClellan AFB, California; one sister, Mrs. Clara Ingram of Lakewood, CA and three grandchildren.

Services have been scheduled for Friday, 1 November 1968, 3:00 P.M., at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado, officiated by the Reverend Walter Knox. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
