DUSTIN DANIELS BROWN
Dustin (Dusty) Daniels Brown, age 24, of Altus passed away Monday, February 27, 2006 from complications of diabetes.
Dusty was born July 6, 1981, at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, to Dennis Linne" and Yvonne Kay (Farrell) Brown. Moving to Altus from Ramstein AFB, Germany, Dusty was an avid soccer player and later assisted with coaching soccer for a number of years in the city league soccer program and as a volunteer coach with the high school soccer program. A graduate of Altus High School, with the class of 1999, Dusty was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In addition to enjoying soccer, Dusty was a gifted writer of poetry and other literature and was a Eagle Scout. Beginning in August 2000, Dusty served a mission for his church in the Washington- Spokane Mission for two years.
Dusty is survived by his parents, Dennis and Yvonne Brown or Altus; one brother, Cory Brown of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister Lindsay Brown of Altus, currently serving a mission for her church in Italy; grandparents, Francis and Low Brown of Logan, Utah, and Vincent J. and Louise Farrell of Columbus, Georgia. along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Dixie Hazelton, in 2000.
