Obituary for Dustin Louis Bradford
Dustin Louis Bradford
April 7, 1998 - December 23, 2024
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dustin Louis Bradford, age 26, a resident of Olustee, Oklahoma, and formerly of Altus, who tragically lost his life in an auto accident near Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, on December 23, 2024. Dustin was born on April 7, 1998, to John Odell Bradford and Tonya Renee (Dreyer) Bradford in Altus, Oklahoma. His early years were spent in Granite, where he began his education before finishing school in Altus. In 2007, the family moved to Springtown, Texas, but returned to Altus in 2014, where Dustin would later pursue his career in the oilfields. Dustin's work ethic was unparalleled. As a third-generation oilfield worker, he took immense pride in his profession. He worked tirelessly, first as a mechanic at 3B and in 2021 he started working as a mud logger for Mock Oil Company, where he worked near Weatherford, Cheyenne, and Hammond. Dustin found pride in the hard work and dedication required in the oil industry, knowing that his labor was part of a long family legacy.
Despite his busy career, Dustin's greatest joy and transformation came on August 11, 2022, with the birth of his beloved daughter, Madison Renee Lynn Bradford. From that moment, Dustin's life was forever changed. His love for Madison knew no bounds, and he cherished every second spent with her-whether it was playing, running, or simply being in her presence. Fatherhood brought out a new depth of devotion in Dustin, fueling his hard work and determination to provide a bright future for his little girl.
In his free time, Dustin enjoyed playing Xbox, particularly Call of Duty and Borderlands, often joining his brother for friendly gaming sessions. He also had a deep love for the outdoors and motorcycles, regularly riding with family and taking his loyal dog, Sadie, along for the journey. He loved spending time under the hood of a car and truck. Dustin's legacy will live on through the memories of his deep love for his family, his dedication to his work, and the joy he found in the little things that made life so precious. He was a devoted father, loving husband, and a cherished friend. He will be missed beyond measure by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Dustin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruby and Edgar Dreyer and his faithful Australian Shepherd, Sadie, who passed away at his side. Left to honor and cherish his memory is his wife, Gabrielle Kathleen Patterson, his precious daughter, Madison Renee Lynn Bradford, his parents, John Odell Bradford and Tonya Renee Dreyer Bradford, his brother, Colby Bradford, his sister, Rachel Dawn Wilhite, and partner, Troy Schoolcraft. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Larry Bradford and Alicia Shaeffer, nieces and nephews Troy, Leland, Abigail, Sophia, Declan, Gabbie, and Noah, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will remember him for his warmth, hard work, and the love he gave to those closest to him.
The Bradford family would like to extend their gratitude to those who have shown support and kindness during this difficult time.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2024 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home Chapel, Altus, Oklahoma.
Funeral services and cremation has been entrusted to Lowell - Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
