E. R. Allen


E R Allen passed away at his home in Altus, Oklahoma June 25th, 1964. He was born June 15, 1878 in Decatur, Texas and had lived in Jackson County since 1907. He married Lou Clancy in 2957. Lou preceded him in death. E. R. is survived by six sons: Tommy R., Bill, Joe, Marvin, and Floyd all of Altus, Oklahoma and Lloyd of Roswell, New Mexico. one daughter: Mrs Zora Baker of Redonda Beach, California. one sister: Mrs. Mae Morris of Alvoid Texas, Twenty Grandchildren and 41 Great Grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ with L. N. Moody officiating. Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery with Tims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
