Obituary for Earby Foster Southerland
Mr. Earby Foster Southerland, age 52, of Olustee, Oklahoma, died Sunday, December 8th, 1968 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City after an accident at Olustee Farmer's Co-op.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 1968, Tims Chapel, 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Roy Easley officiating. Burial will be in the Olustee Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Southerland had lived in the Olustee community since 1928 and was a member of the Church of Christ. He married the former Jerry Lou Price on September 19, 1960. He was a member of the Olustee Red River Rider's Club.
He is survived by: his wife of the home; three sons, Edwin of Shamrock, TX, Dale and David of the home; two daughters, Twilla and Becky, both of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Smithey of Altus and Mrs. Lela Cuveas of Elgin AFB, FL; six brothers, Zack of Wilmington, CA, Johnny of Vernon, TX, Bill and Everett of Oklahoma City and Marlin of Texas and R. L. of North Dakota; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Southerland of Altus.
