Graveside services and internment for Mr. Earl Edwin Walker, 90, of Algood, will be conducted Tuesday May 9 at 11 am at the Hess Cemetery. Dr. Jeff Moore will officiate.

Mr. Walker died Friday May 5, 2006 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Walker was born July 1, 1915 in Altus, OK and was the son of the late Troy Franklin and Emily Bagley Walker.

Mr. Walker was a retired superintendent with the Altus Electric Company of Altus; a member of the Woodman of the World; and an avid gardener.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Elvis Walker; three sisters, Fran Wilkins, Clara Murl, and Opal Walker.

He is survived by his wife of over 69 years, Nadine Bartley Walker ( whom he married June 27, 1936 in Hess, Oklahoma; two daughters and a son-in-law, Beverly and Chuck Galmon, and Mattie Burton all of Algood, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.
