Earnest Aaron Stapp age 80 of Altus, Oklahoma died July 29, 1965 at Memorial Hospital in Altus.
He was born October 25, 1886 in Quitman, Texas to Milton Cook and Nancy (Lassiter) Stapp. He married Lillian September 29, 1907 in Necessity, Texas. He was a retired farmer and had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since December 26, 1928.
Funeral services for Earnest Aaron Stapp are scheduled for 2:30pm July 31, 1965 in Tims Chapel officiated by Rev. Billy Walker. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Earnest Aaron Stapp is survived by his wife, Lillian of the home; three sons, Carl Stapp, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Hurshel Stapp, Oildale, California; W.B. Stapp, Wichita Falls, Texas; four daughters, Exa Dell Byers, Vernon, Texas; Thelma Herrod, Altus, Oklahoma; Lois Smith, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Aubrey Palmer, Altus, Oklahoma; nineteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren.
