Edith Edelvous Howson, age 67, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

She was born November 15, 1938. in Okarche, Oklahoma.

Edith is survived by two sons, Bobby Darrel Taylor and wife Mayetta of Heber Springs, Arkansas, David Eugene Taylor of Michigan and step-son William D. Howson of Michigan, five brothers, Bobby Walker and wife Freda of Atoka, Oklahoma, Billy Walker and wife Neveta of Belton, Texas, Jack Walker and wife Pamela of Springfiels, MO, Thomas Walker and wife Charlotte of Seattle, Washington and Don Walker and wife Chris of Tri City, OR., two sisters, Euleta Christopher and Husband Gerald of Altus, Oklahoma and Wimena Walker of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Altus City Cemetery, under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
