she was born February 2, 1904 in Mississippi to Mark D. and Agatha Coke. She married Robert L. Brewer August 1920 in Eldorado. He died in August 1988. She moved to Altus in October 1996. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Altus. She attended Lincoln School near Eldorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Marie Lambright in 1939 and a great granddaughter. Also two brothers and one sister-in-law Bilbo Coke and George and Carrie Bell Coke, one sister and husband; Mandell and Marvin Mefford.
Survivors includes four son and their wives; Carroll and Beth Brewer, Lamesa; Howard and Florence Brewer, Altus, Eugene and Glenda Brewer, Ft. Worth, Texas; Duane and Cecillia Brewer, Dalhart, Texas, Four daughters and three son-in-laws; Virginia and A.B. Cornett, Brownfield, Texas; Ovetta Webster, Ft. Worth; Nadine and Jimmy Allen, Chickasha; Kaye and Del Linders, Carrollton, Texas, one brother Troy and Ima Ree Coke, Eldorado; two sisters Viola Brownlow, Lubbock and Elsie and Robin Byrd, Elverta, California one sister in law, Velma Coke, Gould; 27 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening 6:30-8:00pm at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
