Obituary for Edward Olson
Services for Edward Olson, long time Altus resident, has been scheduled for 2:00pm Friday, October 8, 1999, in the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Rev. H.O. Ballard officiating. Interment will follow in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Olson was born February 17, 1944, in Ada MN to Gerald F. and Dorothy Rose (Dauner) Olsen. He joined the United States Air Force and served his last duty station in Altus. He liked our town and decided to remain here after his discharge from the Air Force. On June 2, 1978, Ed married Linda Freeman at Vernon, Texas. They resided in Altus where Ed owned and operated many businesses, including two gas stations and an auto salvage.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; ;his parents, Gerald and Dorothy Olson of Ada, MN; one brother, Loren Olson also of Ada, MN; and two sisters, Cheryl Johnson of Horace, ND and Marilyn Neville of Selma, MO.
