Obituary for Effie Mae Richeson
Effie Mae Richeson, age 88, life long resident of Eldorado, died Tuesday, June 6th, 1989, at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services have been set for Friday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado, officiated by The Reverend Laverne Laing and The Reverend Kenneth Coleman. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born September 20th, 1900 in Eldorado. She was the daughter of pioneer parents Walter and Mary Freeman. She married James Wilford Richeson October 2, 1922 at Altus. They farmed and ranched in the Eldorado area until his death in December of 1984. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was an active member of the Eldorado First Baptist Church. Her parents and one son, James Melvin Richeson preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two daughters, Dorothy Crozier of Eldorado and Verda Anders of Hollis; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
