Funeral services for Eliseo Sanchez Hernandez, 85, of Altus are scheduled for 12:00pm, Monday March 8, 1993 at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Altus cemetery, Father Tim Luschen will officiate. Rosary will be Sunday, March 7, at the Lowell-Tims Chapel. Mr. Hernandez passed away March 6 at the local hospital. Mr. Hernandez was born August 11, 1909 in Pearsal Texas to Jose and Conception Hernandez. He married Eva Hernandez on July 4, 1945 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Together they moved to Altus in 1959 where Eliseo worked for George C. Wright Lumber Co. as a truck driver. Mr. Hernandez was a member of the Catholic Church. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include wife Eva Hernandez of the home, children, Robert Hernandez and Linda of Altus, Oklahoma; Ester Molina and Eloy of Edinburg, Texas; Amy Hamilton of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother, Jose Hernandez of Austin, Texas; sisters, Jesusa Morales of Corpus Christi, Texas; Manuela Salinas of Corpus Christi, Texas; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, one son Emelio Soliz.
