MIRANDA
Elizabeth Ann (Chambless) Miranda, age 46, of Sayre, formerly of Duke and Hollis, passed away early Monday morning, May 30, 2016, at Baptist Integris Hospice House, in Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Miranda was born on March 4, 1970, in Palestine, Texas to Alvin Ardell and Sylvia Ann (Goodrum) Chambless. Growing up in Kilgore, Texas, where she attended school, they later moved to Roby, Texas and Sweetwater, Texas. While living in Duke, she met the love of her life, Jeff Miranda, and they were married on September 17, 2002. With Jeff’s jobs, they lived in Duke, Eldorado, Hollis and Sayre, where she lived at the time of her death. Elizabeth spent a short time modeling when she was young and also riding horses. She was a people person who loved entertaining her friends and family at any gathering.
Preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nina Beth Quick, she is survived by her husband Jeff Miranda, of the home; three children, Renee Martinez and husband Lupe of Sweetwater, Texas, Krystyne McCluskey and James Jared Cox of Sayre and Joshua Wayne Miranda of Sayre; one granddaughter, Autumn Raine Cox of Sayre; two sisters, Pauline Chambless and husband Bill Regner of San Antonio, Texas and Melissa Dell Chambless of Duke; three brothers, John Wesley Chambless of Elkhart, Texas, Raymond Chambless of Wildcat, Oklahoma and Alvin Ardell Chambless, Jr. and wife Kristie of Sweetwater, Texas along with many other friends and relatives.
Memorial services for Elizabeth Ann Miranda will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2016, at the Harmon County Funeral Home Chapel, in Hollis with Brother Randy Overstreet officiating.
